The Hamilton County Law Library Resources Board governs the Law Library, following stewardship by the Cincinnati Law Library Association for more than 160 years.
Use of the library is a privilege, not a right, so it’s good to be aware of library policies from computer use to inclement weather to behavior and more.
Originally created in 1834, this Bench and Bar library was incorporated June 5, 1847. Read more about the Law Library’s history and homes.

The Law Library welcomes monetary donations and donations of materials. Please contact the Law Librarian & Director before donating books. Read more.
