Renovations Are Underway!
Thanks to a generous gift from the Cincinnati Law Library Association, the Hamilton County Law Library is getting some much-needed updating and renovations! The space once known as the State of Ohio Room has been converted to a new subscriber lounge with state-of-the-art conference room suite, the Kraft Boardroom is being expanded and the Computer Lab is getting a refresh!
Renovations to the State of Ohio Room began on March 11 with a demolition phase that lasted several weeks. The construction phase began on April 22 and lasted until early fall. A grand reopening ceremony was held on October 4th. Click on the folders on the left to see photos pre-construction, during demolition, construction and the completed product.
Work on the Kraft Boardroom will begin on October 14th. The room will unfortunately be out of commission for several weeks. Subscribers should call the Law Library to check is the room is available for use.
The computers in the lab will be temporarily relocated to other areas of the Law Library once construction begins on that space. We will post more information about that as soon as possible to limit disruptions to our subscribers.
Work crews will restrict the more disruptive activities to the evenings and weekends but some disturbances during library hours may be unavoidable. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope any disruption will be minimal.
