The Law Library is exceptionally pleased to welcome our newest staff member, Amy Kurlansky! Amy is assuming the role of Reference Librarian for the Law Library and will be in charge of the newsletter and all CLEs (so feel free to contact her with any questions!)
Amy has been an attorney with ProSeniors since 2009, where she served as an invaluable resource for the seniors of Hamilton County in advocacy and the prevention of elder abuse. She was the committee chair for the CBA’s Elder Law Committee and truly has a passion for access to justice for at-risk populations.
If you don’t know Amy from her work with ProSeniors or the CBA, you might have seen her around the Main Branch of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County, where she has worked for the past 8 years. Her infectious smile and bubbly personality (seriously, you think I’m exaggerating but it is literally impossible to be grumpy around Amy) make her a welcome addition to the Law Library family.
Stop by and say hello – and ask her about her impressive lightsaber collection!
