Cyber Security

SB 220-Safe Harbor

Senate bill 220 would provide legal safe harbor to certain business that implement cyber security programs.

HB 385-Public Sector Wage Discrimination

House bill 385 aims to tackle the issue of wage disparity at state agencies. The bill would create a Wage Disparity Study Committee to study the issue. More pertinent to employees and job seekers, it would prevent state agencies from requiring job seekers to disclose salary history as well as prohibit agencies from imposing gag orders on employees who discuss wages with colleagues.

SB 219-Firearm Devices Prohibitions

A direct response to the recent Las Vegas shooting, this bill would prohibit certain conduct regarding trigger cranks, bumpfire devices, and other items that accelerate a semi-automatic firearm's rate of fire but do not convert it into an automatic firearm.
