House bill 253 would permit law enforcement officers to carry firearms off duty in places otherwise prohibited for concealed handgun licensees.
This bill would require the POW/MIA flag to be displayed at certain buildings operated by the state on Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, National POW/MIA Recognition Day, and Veterans' Day.
This bill would authorize a township officer who serves a population of greater than 5,000 to make arrests for specified traffic offenses on interstate highways within and adjacent to the officer's territory and prohibit townships from using traffic law photo-monitoring devices on interstate highways.
